Seriously. Why? Granted, this purchase was made several years ago. The Belkin Nostromo n45 was a bit of a let down for me. At the time I was pretty comfortable with the PS2 controller setup. This game controller was supposed to let me play Gothic 3 without having to get used to the keyboard/mouse combo like most PC gamers. It didn't succeed.
Why?
I have a brother that always beat me at PC games. He eventually purchased a n50 and that only improved his game. I decided that even though I couldn't get used to the form factor of the n50, maybe I should still consider Belkin. I asked around and looked on a line for some reviews. But, to each their own because I found the control pad uncomfortable to hold and impossible to configure.
Software
The load-out manager was confusing and non-intuitive. No matter what I did, some games just wouldn't work well with this thing. Their was also a persistent drift that I couldn't correct through the software. Thumbs down, there has to be better game pads out there with more inspiring software these days.
Fate
Fortunately, I was able to give this item away. Unfortunately, I feel bad that somebody else has to own this controller. This one should be recycled.
