Wow. If you would've told me 6 months ago that it would take 6 months to install 2 windows, I would've called you crazy. Now, I'd probably call you Jack Tilka. These amazing people have given me the runaround since the beginning of the install.
Sometime late April
Since my last post in mid-April regarding the poor customer service and quality received from Jacks Wholesale Windows, We've had a few visits from a new "crew". I have to put that in quotes just because it was actually just one individual, lets call him Rick. Rick shows up to install the new window sashes that the previous crew failed to fix. My wife takes time away from work to be here for it. After Rick installs the new windows, she finds that they barely slide at all in the track. She uses all of her upper body and barely get them to budge. This won't work she explains. Rick agrees and says they'll have to replace the entire set. Unfortunately, Jacks Wholesale Windows fights back and says they can be fixed. They send Rick back out a couple weeks later to try and uninstall, then reinstall the existing windows. To nobody's surprise, no luck. The windows cannot be fixed and must be replaced. This time he'll measure them correctly and get us squared away.
Sometime late May
So we wait. We make another appointment. This whole time, our windows are crooked and the trim has been removed. They look horrible and they're leaking our cool air back out into the atmosphere. A new crew shows up 7 weeks later and rips out the old windows. They install the new, smaller, set and begin to clean up.
It is then that I notice a small paper-clip-sized crack in one of the windows. Awesome. Jack installs a broken window. This Jacks Wholesale Windows crew could have checked the windows at the warehouse, heck anybody working at that office that actually stood behind their "100% Customer Satisfaction" claim could have checked these windows. But no, they would rather install broken windows and drag this on. I'm not sure why, but Jack is, again, not able to satisfy this install.
So... we make another appointment.

A new windows gets made and a new crew comes out sometime Monday afternoon. I'm giddy with excitement as I thought I could sense the end of this saga. The crew shuffles in with the new window, and scrambles out with old one. Then the installer breaks my heart. The new Jacked Window features locks which are offset from the existing set by about 3 inches. These windows would never lock.
Thanks Jack. Thanks again for wasting time in my life. I have nothing better to do than take time away from work to be here as your quality crews stare blankly at your bad products. I know, I know. You just buy the windows from your supplier, your're not responsible for their craftsmanship.
After not hearing anything else back from Jacks Wholesale Windows regarding the completion of this all, I call them on Wednesday the 30th. "Can I look into this and call you back, everybody else here is gone for the day" was the reply at 3pm. Apparently they must have taken the rest of the day off to inspect the quality of their other windows. Finally, I get a call back on Friday to setup an appointment for Monday, July 5th. A paid vacation day for me. Sure, we'll be available. Between 2pm and 4pm? Whatever, lets get this finished.

Today I called Jacks Wholesale Windows to find out if everything was on schedule to finish up today. The appointment times were from 2pm to 4pm, I called at 3:45pm when I started wondering if they were going to even show. After being transferred around a bit, I ended up having to explain my situation to somebody there that I've never talked to. He reassured me that the appointment times were approximate and that the installer would be there in an hour (45 minutes after the time-frame originally agreed upon). What happens if I'm not home? Jack ding's you for $75. What happens if they don't show? They're not going to call you to update you on their time.
Please feel free to comment below if you have had a similar experience with Jacks Nosale Windows.
This situation is currently in the process of being repaired. A representative of Jacks Wholesale Warehouse has visited the house and helped restore my confidence in their business. I will post an update once this issue is completely resolved.
