Why I would never buy anything from zwaveproducts.com again

 
 
 

Wow, what a horrible experience its been working zwaveproducts.com.  I placed my first Home Automation order through them on 1/9/10.  The website seemed nice enough, but after submitting my order, it has been hell ever since.  Zwaveproducts.com is almost completely unresponsive.  Here is my review of the transaction.

Their First Response:

I received order confirmation on Jan 10 at 2:18pm.

The comments for your order are:

Tracking will be sent on 1-11-10 by 8PM

Your order has been updated to the following status: Shipped

If necessary, you may update your order directly by following the link above (login required). If you have further questions or comments, please reply to this email.

Then, after Jan 11 8pm, I got curious where my tracking information was so I replied to that email as instructed.

My Reply:

Sales,

I have yet to receive shipping confirmation.  Please confirm tracking
information.

Thank you,

No response.  I waited a day, still no response from zwaveproducts.com.  Mind you, this purchase was for close to $600 of my hard earned clams.  I send another email.

My 2nd Reply:

This is my second email requesting a Shipment Tracking confirmation.
My order detail on your site and your email confirmations say that you
will have given me this tracking info by 8pm on 1/11/10.  It is 1/1310
(9:50am) and I still have not received this tracking information.
Please advise.

Thats it. No thanks for contacting, we appreciate your business, or any other jargon that I would normally dismiss as casual business-to-customer formalities. Zwaveproducts.com is either run by a non-English speaking outfit or by children. Maybe both.

Jan 13, 2:56pm.  4 days after the order has been placed.  I try again:

Seriously, should I just cancel my order? This UPS shipping details says that it was just shipped today, I ordered 4 days ago and the online order on your site showed that it was shipped on the 9th.
What is the status of my order, when did UPS receive it? I just spent $500+ at your website and I'm not feeling good about my purchase so far.
